Each party is responsible for conducting its own due diligence and for independently verifying all parties, documents, instruments and terms before proceeding. You should confirm bank instruments directly with the issuing institution and satisfy yourself as to the authority and capability of every counterparty. CoyEnergy's work does not replace your own verification, legal review or commercial judgement.
07 Documents & Procedures
We favour orderly, ICC-aligned procedures and standard structures such as FOB liftings and CIF contracts supported by LC or SBLC. However, CoyEnergy does not warrant the authenticity, accuracy or legal effect of documents issued by third parties, and the terms of any transaction are governed solely by the definitive agreements executed between the principals.
08 Third Parties
Any transaction is between the relevant buyers, sellers, mandates and their financiers. CoyEnergy is not a party to those agreements, does not control third parties and accepts no responsibility for their acts, omissions, representations or default.
